BPYJVP 0.6/1kV Symmetrical Variable-Frequency-Drive Cable

Zhejiang Hongce BPYJVP VFD cable with XLPE insulation and copper tape shielding, engineered for variable frequency drive motors to eliminate EMI.

BPYJVP carries the PWM output of a variable frequency drive (VFD) to its motor without the bearing-current problem that ordinary motor cable suffers. Three power conductors and three ground conductors arrange symmetrically around the cable axis; an overall copper-tape shield bonds at both ends to cancel common-mode EMI.

Overview

Three Class 5 fine-stranded copper power conductors, each insulated with heavy-wall XLPE rated for VFD dv/dt; three Class 5 ground conductors interleaved symmetrically; semi-conductive separator; tinned-copper-wire braid shield; PVC outer sheath. The 3+3 symmetry cancels the capacitive imbalance that drives circulating currents into motor bearings — the failure mode that gives VFD-fed motors a reputation for premature bearing replacement.

Key Features

01

Symmetrical 3+3 ground geometry

Three grounds interleaved with three power conductors cancels capacitive imbalance — eliminates motor bearing damage from VFD shaft currents.

02

Bonded copper-wire-braid shield

Continuous braid shield with 85%+ coverage, bonded at both ends per VFD manufacturer instructions — cancels common-mode EMI.

03

dv/dt qualified insulation

XLPE insulation thickness sized for the steep voltage edges of modern IGBT inverters — beats standard motor cable on lifetime.

Applications

Industrial VFD motor feeders

Inverter-to-motor cables for pumps, fans, compressors, and conveyors driven by VFD.

HVAC VFD circuits

Chiller compressor inverter outputs, AHU fan inverter outputs in commercial buildings.
