YC 450/750V Heavy-Duty Rubber-Sheathed Flexible Cable

YC is the heavy-duty rubber-sheathed cable for portable power and jobsite use where PVC cable would fail in months. Class 5 fine-stranded copper, ethylene-propylene rubber (EPR) insulation, chloroprene rubber outer sheath. Survives oil splash, repeated coiling, and the kind of mechanical abuse that destroys PVC cable.

Overview
Fine-stranded copper Class 5 conductor (very flexible), EPR insulation (stays supple at −25°C, intact at +90°C), chloroprene rubber outer sheath (abrasion and oil resistant). Standard 2 to 5 core constructions for portable single-phase and three-phase loads. Often specified for construction site power, mobile workshops, portable transformers, and outdoor equipment that gets coiled away after each shift.
Key Features
Oil-resistant CR sheath
Chloroprene rubber outer sheath resists hydraulic oil, lubricant, and most jobsite chemical exposure — PVC cable lasts months in the same conditions.
Wide-temperature flexibility
EPR insulation stays flexible at −25°C — usable in air-conditioned warehouse loading bays and cold storage facilities.
Applications
Construction site portable power
Mobile generators, portable transformers, temporary site distribution.
Mining and quarry equipment
Reeling cables on continuous miners, drag-line excavators, port-side cranes.
